Heading to Market

We attend a buying market at least twice a year to find pieces to arrive in store anywhere from immediate shipping dates to 6 months out--depending on the brand. Market is set up like a giant tradeshow broken up by all of the brands. Our job is to go through each booth and flip through the hundreds of styles available. We pull styles we like and create little collections that we think our customers will love and that will flow together on the floor. This gets tricky as we have to coordinate all of the different shipping windows. We get a mix of categories not only to follow our buying plan but also to make outfiting and the floor cohesive.
